Electric Car Rentals in Los Angeles

5 cars available

Driving an electric car in Los Angeles is almost a non-decision now. The Supercharger and CCS networks cover every part of the city you'll realistically drive to — Santa Monica, Hollywood, downtown, Long Beach, even the canyons. Range anxiety in LA basically doesn't exist for any modern EV with 250+ miles of range, which covers every car in our fleet.

We rent Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, Acura ZDX, and select Genesis EVs. Each listing shows real-world range (not just EPA estimates), supported charge speeds, and which charging networks the car has access to. Tesla owners get free Supercharger access; non-Tesla EVs are billed for charging at standard CCS rates, which usually come out cheaper than gas anyway.

Pickup is at our base near LAX with a full battery. We'll show you how to use the charging port, plan a charging stop, and use the regenerative braking that takes 10 minutes to get used to and then becomes the only way you want to drive. Delivery to LAX, hotels, or your residence is available for a flat fee.

LA's HOV lane sticker situation matters if you're going to commute or do a lot of freeway driving — most of our EVs qualify for clean-air vehicle stickers depending on the car's registration. Listings mention this where applicable.

For longer trips — Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Joshua Tree — every EV in our fleet has enough range to handle the route with one or two Supercharger/fast-charge stops. We'll send you a recommended route if you tell us your destination at pickup. Insurance is included; no separate damage-waiver tier to opt into.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to pay for charging?

Tesla rentals include free Supercharger access. Non-Tesla EVs are billed at standard CCS rates (cheaper than gas) — charges typically run $10–25 for a full top-up.

What's the range on your EVs?

All EVs in our fleet have 250+ miles of real-world range. Tesla Model 3 Long Range and Model Y deliver 300+ miles per charge in mild weather.

Can I take an EV to Vegas?

Yes — LA to Vegas (270 miles) is one Supercharger/fast-charge stop in any car we rent. We'll send a recommended charging plan.

Are charging cables included?

Yes. Every rental EV comes with a Type 1 / CCS adapter cable and (for Teslas) the Tesla-to-J1772 adapter. You only need to plug in — no extra purchase.

Do you have hybrid options if I'm not ready for full EV?

Yes. We rent Plug-In Hybrids (Volvo XC90 PHEV) and standard hybrids that combine gas + electric. Listings tagged 'hybrid' filter to those.
