Yes — or add our Trip Insurance Plan at checkout. Every trip has to be covered before you get the keys. If you carry your own auto insurance, choose that option and upload your insurance card during checkout. If you don’t have your own policy, choose the Trip Insurance Plan and we’ll cover the trip. Note that the Trip Insurance Plan is available to drivers 25 and over; drivers aged 21–24 rent using their own auto insurance.

A refundable $250 security deposit is held on your card at booking. The hold is released after your return and a clean inspection, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

You must be 21 or older and hold a valid driver's license issued in the United States or internationally. We verify identity via Stripe Identity before pickup — no in-person paperwork.

Your booking includes 200 miles per day, and the allowance pools across the whole trip — a 600-mile total on a three-day booking. Miles beyond that are billed at $0.75 per mile for this vehicle, worked out from the odometer readings taken at pickup and at return, and collected from the security-deposit hold. Planning a long trip? Ask us about an unlimited-mileage upgrade before you book — a flat fee agreed up front is almost always cheaper.

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at pickup. If you'd rather skip the gas station, pre-purchase a Refuel Extra at checkout for one flat fee.

Yes. Cancellations more than 24 hours before pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours of pickup are subject to a one-day rental fee per our cancellation policy. Host-initiated cancellations always refund 100%.
